So if you’re a life coach and you want to make more money, these five things you need to know. Oh, really? Oh really? Oh hello, my friend. I’m SUPER Sid, The Marketing Shaman, and I help life coaches and healers create and generate their first or their next 10k paydays for their life coaching healing businesses in the next 30 days or less using profitable presentations. And in this video, we’re specifically going to be talking about five things that all life coaches need to know if they want to make more money. And the truth of the matter is, all of these five things are things you’re never going to learn in certification school, you’re never going to learn about going out. And you know, while going out and becoming certified, these are things that I guess you kind of qualify as things that you’re going to be learning on the street, because the truth of the matter is, certification schools are really really good at one thing, and that’s giving you their opinion that you’re good enough to be a life coach.
But the truth of the matter is, and the facts states that they’re not very good at teaching you how to make money because the average life coach that becomes a life coach after getting certified makes less than $27,000 a year that is below the poverty line. So this video, we’re going to show you five things that you need to make sure that you know, so that you don’t fall below that poverty line and so that you can start making more money faster. As a life coach. Without any further ado, let’s head into this video. It’s our truth. But many life coaches need to hear this. And that is that most life coaches don’t have a business yet. And they’ve never really had a business, they’ve read a hobby. And the truth of the matter is, is the reason they’ve had a hobby is because they haven’t had any signed up clients or they’ve just been working with people for free, and they don’t have any paying clients. And I’ve never had any paying clients and never generate any revenue. Since I’ve never been in any revenue ever generated or generated any revenue. There’s absolutely no way that it’s a for profit business.
At best, it’s nonprofit, or it’s simply a charity. And at the end of the day, we need to make sure that we remember as life coaches, right, we are a business a for profit business, it is our job to it is our goal to go out there and make money, more money as a life coach allows us to go out there and help more people, right? Going out there as a business owner, as a entrepreneur and just helping at you know, helping all these people for free and wasting our time is actually at a disservice because sooner or later write our business is not going to be able to be withheld. And we’re not going to be able to have the chance to do that. I think so many life coaches are so scared of money, right? Or they have this like fear of money, or they don’t want to make money or whatever it might be money is evil, right? The truth of the matter is, is that money is usually that resource that’s going to allow us to gain our core desire. So I’m not saying don’t go out there and have the vision or the goal to want to help people, right. And here’s kind of an example of that. The overall goal that I have with my life is we want to own a ranch, you know, we want to own a healing ranch out here in Texas that’s going to help people right get healing, holistic healing from national, you know, from, you know, shamans and net, no natural healers, and holistic healers and energy healers and stuff like that.
And we really want to do it with people who don’t feel like they have an opportunity to go to anywhere else. But But besides to get doctors, the truth of the matter is, though, is I’m not going to be able to help those people, and I’m not going to be able to help the life coaches that are out there right now that don’t have the ability to start getting help for themselves, right, I’m not gonna be able to make the impact that I want to make, unless I go out there, right, and I have a for profit business that’s given me the resources to be able to go do that. If I’m just going out there and doing that, but not creating the resources to be able to go out there and do that I’m actually gonna help a lot less people. Right. And you know, what we really want to make sure that we understand is that the more money that we make inside of our businesses, the more people that we’re going to be able to help period. And it’s very, very important that we understand that, you know, for most of you that are probably watching this video, you probably don’t have a business yet, probably have a hobby. And if you want to have a business, we need to simply start putting measurements in place.
And we need to start looking at our business as a for profit business, because it is and it matters. And if we if our business fails, then that means that the people that we might want to help, right with a successful business are those people that, you know, those extra people that we’re looking to help, possibly for free are not gonna be able to get our help, because we got to take care of ourselves, we got to go do those things, right. So we want to remember that if we want to get out of hobby, we want to get into a business, you need to make it for profit, and when you start going out there with the goal of making money. Alright, so the second thing is a hot topic, right? It’s a topic because I think that there’s people on both sides of the spectrum here, but I’m pretty I’m pretty on one side of this topic. And you know, really the thing that I tell people a lot and a lot of my videos and when I’m on stage or you know what I’m talking to people wherever is that certifies don’t certifications don’t equal money. And that’s the truth. Like going and getting a coaching certification does not mean that you’re gonna go out there and make money.
Just because you go out there and you get a real estate license and you do all this studying doesn’t mean you’re gonna make a lot of money as a real estate just because you go out there and you get your MBA doesn’t mean you’re gonna go out there and make more money than someone who didn’t go to college. And you can sit here and argue with me all you want about that, but the proofs in the pudding. Right? I mean, you know, not far off of the filming of this episode, a guy bought, you know, a really big social media platform, and I don’t believe he has any college education. You know, you look at the people who are building you know, these multibillion dollar companies, how many of them have college education is not many so you know, you going out there and saying, hey, you know, I have all these certifications, and it’s gonna help you make a lot more money. It’s a bunch of baloney. In fact, it’s a bunch of BS. And the truth of the matter is, is when people sign up with you, they’re going to be signing up with you.
Because you have 20 different certifications that don’t mean anything, they’re going to be signing up with you, because you can help them fix that problem, and that you’ve demonstrated how you can help them fix that problem better than the person standing next to you. And I cannot tell you how many times that I’ve seen a person without a certification standing someone with a certification, but the one without of certification has experience and the one with certification doesn’t and guess who the client picks, the client picks the one with experience, because they have a proven track record of being able to go out there and help people with a problem that they have. And the certification didn’t mean anything, because it’s just someone else’s opinion. So if you want to go out there, and you wanted to make a lot more money faster as a life coach, and you go out there, and you start demonstrating how you can help people by actually helping them and a lot of way. And the big way that we teach people how to do that here at Life Coach launch is through putting on profitable presentations, and demonstrating how you can do that on a consistent basis.
All right, get to the halfway point on this. Third thing we want to talk about is we always want to remember, we are coaches, we are not consultants. And this comes to exactly what it is and how we charge right we are paid based on not just helping people get to a solution or get to a target or get to a goal. Or we get to what I classify as the Promised Land, right or a surface desire that they want to get to. We’re paid for the speed at which we get them to that goal. Right? We’re a coach, right? Our job as that coach is not only to help them get there, but help them get there faster. And I think a lot of times people are out there coaches are out there, and they’re wanting to charge based on how much time they spend with people. Like, I don’t get it like, you know, you’re gonna spend eight hours with me and my hourly rate is I charge $150 per hour. Why does that mean it’s going to take you longer to solve the problem? I don’t need someone that’s going to spend all this time talking to me, I’m hiring you because I want to solve a problem and solve it quickly and painfully.
Right. I mean, without Hey, usually right? So I mean, like, what I want to do is I want to find people who are going to, you know, help me solve a problem faster. And usually they help me solve that problem faster, I’m gonna pay him more money. A consultant is someone there who’s just going to give you their advice around a topic, they’re not going to, you know, help you get to a goal, they’re not going to play as a guide, right? A coach and a consultant are two completely completely different things. And if you want to be consultant, that’s fine. But being a consultant is completely different business. If you want to be a coach, right, then we need to make sure that we’re helping them get to a specific goal. And we got to remember that we’re helping them get there a lot faster, which usually means they’re paying us money for less time with them, because we’re helping them get to that goal a lot faster, we’re not spending extra time with them and getting paid on an hourly rate.
Because if that’s what we’re doing, we’re simply a consultant and not a coach, before I go into this next half, right of, you know, this video talking about five things, right that you need to be making sure that you know, if you wanna make more money as a life coach, I’m gonna remind you to subscribe to this channel. Alright, so the fourth thing, as we, you know, round this video out is going to be who specifically is it that you help and you know, we talked about, you know, really, you know, what is the perfect profitable niche is what this breaks down into. And I think a lot of coaches out there, they’re saying you don’t need a niche, you don’t need go out there and you know, get an edge business niches or, you know, this or that. But the truth of the matter is, it doesn’t matter who you’re helping, or how you’re helping them, you’re helping them in a niche by default, right, because you’re helping them with a problem.
They’re a group, they’re in a group kind of by default as it is, and you’re obviously helping them with one of the three core markets to help healthy relationships, right. So I’m not saying you have to go out there and just don’t find a niche, right, like, kind of just like, make one up or go out there and find the hottest trend, that’s not what we’re looking to do here. You do want to identify something that you’re good at, and can actually help people but we want to identify something that you can actually help people get to a goal with and we want to build out a persona of that person. That is going to be what classifies your perfect client avatar, we want to be answering questions, right with that perfect client avatar things like if I could just blank because those are the questions it’s gonna help us get inside their head going to help us understand the surface desires that we can help them get to, and ultimately going to be helping us right have the opportunity to help them faster, because they’re gonna be able to see us faster, they’re going to be able to, you know, understand how it is that we can help them faster and ultimately, right they’re going to be signing up with us faster to get that help.
Alright, so the fifth thing that big thing I think that you know, like this is the big one right? I think a lot of life coaches really mess up when it comes to making money is what is your real offer? I think a lot of life coaches especially when they’re not making a lot of money or they’re not making as much money as they want to in their business it really comes back down to their offer and that’s because they don’t have an offer they probably have a product right they probably like you’re selling a home study or they’re selling like one on one coaching this happens a lot they’re selling one on one coaching and what their one on one coaching is is a call with them every week or whatever it is right? And you know, like that really gets them back into that consultant mind frame of like they’re paying, you’re paying for their time. I’m not saying like you know your time, you know, obviously you are paying for the time but you’re looking at it through a different lens, right, you’re helping them get to a goal.
And you can build multiple offers right around the same problem with the same solution based on the different vehicle or delivery at which you get that solution based on a book coaching program, home study course, live event or ultimately maybe a mastermind or one on one coaching but ultimately The right what we want to make sure is is you know, what is your real offer? What is that core offer? What is your bread and butter? What is the solution that you solve people with? We want to make sure it’s not just a product, right? What is the solution? Yeah, that product, but then how is it going to be delivered? What’s the internal and the external objections that you’re going to answer in the offer that you’re going to create? What are the products? Can you add in there and resources that you can add in there that’s going to make that offer irresistible? And answer the internal and external objections that they have? And then what’s the reason to take action now? What is the big reason that they need to take action now right now? And what can you give them that’s going to be so enticing? That’s going to make this offer so irresistible? They’re going to feel absolutely stupid, saying no to it? Alright, so we talked about on this video, five specific things that like coaches need to make sure that they pay attention to and they need to know right now, if they want to go out there and make more money.
But how are they going out there and making more money, even if they saw these five things? And question I want to ask you is how are you going out there every single week? Or how are you going out there consistently, and signing up new life coaching clients and the way that we teach people how to do that your life coach launch life coach launches to what we classify as profitable presentations. So you go out there every single week, or consistently, and you’re demonstrating to people how you can help them by actually helping them at an online event, right. So this could be an online event or an offline event, right. But ultimately, what we want to do is we want to help people by actually helping them demonstrate how we can help them and then by doing that, we want to then give them an offer at the end of that profit presentation to help them more. And by doing that, and demonstrating to multiple people consistently, we’re going to be out in the marketplace out helping people consistently more people are going to see us and it’s going to give us a lot more opportunities to make a lot more money even faster.
